QR code: Quick Response code

The QR-code is a code of two-dimensional bar that was created in 1994 byJapanese company Denso-Wave. QR stands for "quick response" because the ability to be interpreted quickly, the QR-code is widely used in Japan but little known in Brazil.
A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) first designed for the automotive industry.
