  PlayStation Portable, also known by the acronym PSP is the portable version of Sony's games console, the PlayStation series.Its main competitor is the Nintendo DS handheld consoleNintendo.Seguindo the tendency of the PlayStation family, PSPhas other functions beyond gaming, such as audio player, video and Internet access through Wi-Fi network can have it wirelessly. It was released in March 2005. Its graph is similar to the PlayStation2. Another attraction of the PSP is its widescreen display with highbrightness and definition.

          The design:
  The design is perhaps the most mentioned and most common image you have in mind when talking about the PSP. Undoubtedly the main attraction is the 4.3-inch widescreen display, 480x272pixels, unprecedented for the proportions of a pocket video game.Not to mention that the 16:9 widescreen sets the standard for thepleasant aspect of games and handheld video games filmes.Osonly that the 16:9 format, is displayed on the PSP and the Nintendo 3DS
Ken Kutaragi, creator of the PlayStation platform and formerpresident of Sony Computer Entertainment, called the PSP as "the most beautiful thing in the world." 

          Utilities:
  Besides games, the PSP plays movies Mpeg-4, Flash applications, MP3, AAC, WMA (only after activation, which requires an Internet connection) and photos (JPEG), or on the UMD to Memory Stick Duo and also can access the Internet viaWi-Fi can also be used as game controller and the sub-screenfor the PlayStation 3, for example, serving as a mirror in racing games, or even use the Sixaxis or DualShock 3 controller PS3 on laptop (only go [N-1000 series]). It is also possible to buy thePlaystation PS one games via the PlayStation Store and play them on the handheld console.
Play TV through a device called the Sony Location Free Player digital camera and turns through the camera to the Sony PSPwhich is attached to the USB port. They are also introducing aJava Virtual Machine. There is also the Go! Explore, a GPS receiver that turns the PSP into a navigation system with mapsand streets, but that has only been released in Japan and Europe.
